Book Online or Call

Use our online booking tool to pick a time that works for you — or call 403-300-3330 and we'll get you scheduled. New patient appointments are typically 60 minutes plus.

Your First Appointment

Your dentist will take time to understand your history, any concerns, and your goals. We do a full exam, digital X-rays, and a cleaning if time allows — then walk you through a personalized care plan. If sedation is part of your treatment, sedation forms are provided and reviewed at this initial consultation.

Treatment on Your Timeline

No pressure. We'll explain every recommended treatment, why it matters, and what it costs. Then you decide what you'd like to move forward with and when.

Coverage & costs

We make billing simple.

Dental costs shouldn't be a barrier. Here's how we handle coverage, billing, and fees.

Canada Dental Care Plan (CDCP)

We accept CDCP. Eligible patients can use their federal dental coverage here — no need to find a separate CDCP-specific clinic. Learn more about the CDCP.

Direct insurance billing

We bill most major insurance providers directly, so you only pay your portion at the time of your appointment. Bring your insurance card and we'll take it from there.

Alberta Fee Guide

All of our fees follow the Alberta Dental Association Fee Guide. No surprise pricing — we'll give you a written estimate before any treatment begins.

FAQ

Do you take new patients?
Yes — we're always welcoming new patients and their families. You can book online or call 403-300-3330.
Do you accept the Canada Dental Care Plan (CDCP)?
Yes. Crestmont Dental accepts CDCP. Eligible patients under the federal plan can use their coverage here. If you're not sure if you qualify, the CDCP eligibility checker is available at canada.ca.
Do you follow the Alberta Fee Guide?
Yes. All of our fees are aligned with the current Alberta Dental Association Fee Guide. We'll always give you a treatment estimate before any work begins.
Do you do direct billing to insurance?
Yes. We bill directly to most major insurance providers so you're not out of pocket and waiting for reimbursement. Bring your insurance card or plan details and we'll handle the rest.
What if I haven't been to the dentist in a long time?
You're not alone, and there's no judgment here. A lot of our patients come in after years away from the chair — sometimes because of anxiety, sometimes just life. We'll start with a full assessment, explain exactly what we're seeing, and put together a plan that feels manageable.
Do you offer sedation for anxious patients?
Yes — and it's one of the things that sets us apart. Dr. Olsen completed advanced sedation training at Foothills Medical Centre and offers nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and IV conscious sedation in-clinic. You can ask about sedation options when you book.
Do you see children?
Yes. Dr. Boutin is particularly great with young patients and enjoys helping kids build a positive relationship with dental care early. Canadian Dental association recommends the first visit to be 6 months following eruption of the first tooth, or by 1 year old.
Is there parking?
Yes — there's free outdoor parking directly at 30 Crestridge Common SW. Suite 110.
